Job summary

Dexterra Group seeks a Tim's Horton's Baker to support on-campus dining at Redeemer University. You will bake fresh goods for students and staff, reporting to the supervisor, with a Monday–Friday shift from 6:00am to 2:00pm.

The role emphasizes teamwork, food safety, and customer service in a campus environment. Training is provided for candidates with baking or food service interest. Benefits are available from day one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of quality baked goods and food items according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstations with required ingredients, equipment, and supplies.
• Measure, weigh, mix, and prepare ingredients for production.
• Operate baking equipment including ovens and mixers.
• Follow Tim Hortons procedures and product preparation standards.
• Store food safely and maintain sanitation standards.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Deliver friendly service and maintain a positive attitude toward guests and co-workers.

Job Description

As the Tim's Horton's Baker at Redeemer University you will support the team baking fresh delicious baked goods to the students and staff working on campus. Reporting to the Tim Horton's Supervisor or the designate you will work Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm

What You'll Do

• Prepare and bake a variety of quality baked goods and food items according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
• Set up workstations with the required ingredients, equipment, and supplies
• Measure, weigh, mix, and prepare ingredients for production
• Operate baking equipment including ovens, mixers, and other kitchen equipment
• Safely use kitchen tools and utensils, including knives
• Follow Tim Hortons operating procedures and product preparation standards
• Properly store food and maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Support teammates and assist with other duties as required
• Deliver friendly service and maintain a positive attitude toward guests, customers, and co-workers
• Adhere to all workplace safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain required food safety certification(s)
• Basic math and counting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
