Job summary

Tim Hortons is seeking a Baker to join our production team. You’ll prepare fresh, high-quality bakery items and support guest service when needed, all while following Tim Hortons’ standards. You will contribute to a clean, organized workspace and help minimize waste to ensure product freshness.

In a fast-paced setting, your energy and teamwork will keep the line moving and ensure a great guest experience on every shift. Flexible scheduling supports both full-time and part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation is an asset.
• Food safety training is an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Build fresh, high-quality baked goods following Tim Hortons recipes and production standards.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen to meet daily bake schedules.
• Maintain strict food safety practices and proper sanitation.
• Operate bakery equipment safely (mixers, ovens, proofing systems).
• Restock supplies and rotate inventory using FIFO.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and report issues promptly.
• Provide friendly, team-first support to help the store deliver great guest experiences.

As a Baker on the production team, your first priority is guest satisfaction. You take pride in preparing high-quality bakery and menu items that guests know and love. You may also help support guest service when needed, and you respond to special requests with a friendly, respectful attitude.

You follow Tim Hortons standards and guidelines to ensure every item is made with care. You help maintain a clean, organized workspace through regular cleanup, keep your work area neat and professional, work to minimize food waste, and support freshness and quality in every product you prepare.

In a fast-paced environment, your energy and dedication help keep the team moving. Your ability to multi-task and communicate clearly with coworkers supports smooth production and a great guest experience—every shift.

Maintain strict food safety practices, including proper sanitation and safe handling of ingredients

Operate and monitor bakery equipment safely, including mixers, ovens, and proofing systems

Measure ingredients accurately and consistently to deliver reliable taste and texture

Restock supplies, rotate inventory using FIFO, and help manage bake-level ingredient organization

Follow workplace health and safety guidelines and report equipment or safety issues right away

Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Provide friendly, team-first support to help the store deliver great guest experiences
