Job summary

Kiewit is seeking experienced Tig B-Pressure Rig Welders for the Woodfibre project in Squamish, BC. The role requires Red Seal and BC pressure welding tickets, plus 7+ years TIG on stainless and carbon steel, and 5+ years SMAW experience. A WorkSafeBC clearance and a clean driver’s license are needed.

14/7 rotations with 10-hour days and floatel accommodation are provided. Wage is $119.51/hour. Drug, alcohol, and fitness-to-work testing are required upon offer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years TIG experience on stainless and carbon steel.
• Minimum 5+ years SMAW (Stick) welding experience.
• Must pass CLAC weld tests: Stainless TIG, Carbon TIG, Carbon Stick.
• Valid Red Seal Welding Certification and BC pressure ticket required.
• WorkSafeBC clearance and a clean driver’s license are essential.
