About You

This role requires an adaptable, dynamic individual who embodies City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.

About The Opportunity

The Ticket & Retail Sales Attendant will warmly greet guests, distribute boarding passes, answer questions, collect payments and vouchers, and make reservations, all while maintaining an upbeat attitude. This position reports directly to the Ticket & Retail Sales Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Greet passengers and inform them about boarding procedures; print, sort, and distribute boarding passes
  • Explain products, services, and prices; answer guest questions
  • Collect outstanding balances and payment vouchers from third-party distributors
  • Make and confirm cruise reservations via phone, mail, and computer; maintain inventory and provide availability information
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding bookings and ticketing
  • Address guests by name and recognize special occasions
  • Assist with retail inventory and stocking
  • Explain and promote local products sold in the gift shop
  • Use Point of Sale system for transactions
  • Notify guests of changes to cruise schedules or departure locations
  • Follow all safety, departmental, and service standards
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
  • O.S.S.D. or equivalent recognized by the Ministry of Education
  • Minimum one (1) year customer service experience
  • Proficiency with computers and applications like Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to read and write English; capable of entering and maintaining electronic information
  • Cash handling and basic math skills
  • Reliable, responsible, and dependable
  • Ability to work extended periods standing
  • Availability on major holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg)
  • Service-oriented mindset
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Calmness in high-stress situations
  • Willingness to wear PPE as required
