Job summary

The Jewish Security Network at UJA Federation of Greater Toronto is hiring a Research Analyst to support its research and intelligence functions.

The role involves conducting in-depth OSINT research across social media, online forums, public records, news sources, and other open-source environments, and producing clear, actionable assessments for internal stakeholders, law enforcement, and security partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and strong analytical judgment.
• Experience in OSINT, investigations, or intelligence research.
• Ability to assess sources and draw well-supported conclusions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with social media, public records, and news sources.
• Discretion and data-protection awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Open-Source Research: OSINT across social media, public records, news sources.
• Investigations: Research incidents, individuals, organizations to identify connections and risks.
• Analysis: Identify patterns, trends, and indicators of threats.
• Reporting: Produce clear, concise reports and alerts for stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external partners for information sharing.
