Job summary

Cascades in Guelph, ON is hiring a Third Operator to join our production floor where health and safety come first. You’ll support the Operator and 2nd Operator, load materials, monitor quality, and help with maintenance while building practical skills in a manufacturing setting.

• Must have basic manufacturing or factory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operator and 2nd Operator with machine setup and operation.
• Load raw materials and prepare machinery for production runs.
• Monitor product quality and report issues on dimensions and print quality.
• Stack finished products using palletizing equipment per specs.
• Perform equipment cleanup and assist with routine maintenance.
• Complete production reports and admin documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment following health, safety and food safety standards.

What you’ll doAs aThird Operator, you’ll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape.
Your day-to-day:

• Support the Operator and 2nd Operator with machine setup, operation, and production activities
• Load raw materials into equipment and prepare machinery for production runs
• Monitor product quality and report any issues related to box dimensions, print quality, scoring, slotting, or material condition
• Stack finished products using automated palletizing equipment according to customer specifications
• Perform equipment cleanup and assist with routine maintenance activities
• Complete production reports and administrative documentation accurately and on time
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all health, safety, and food safety standards
