Job summary

Carewest is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy professional to join our Calgary team at Glenmore Park. Under supervision, you will assist with client treatments and therapy as directed by a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist, supporting our geriatric mental health program and other care initiatives.

The role requires a Diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy and graduation from an Accredited Therapy Assistant program, with prior therapeutic experience and computer literacy preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy required.
• Graduation from an Accredited Therapy Assistant program.
• Relevant equivalent training or experience may be considered.
• Previous experience in a therapeutic setting is essential.
• Experience with computers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision performs client treatments or therapy as directed by a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
• Duties may include application of muscle and joint treatments, physical exercises and providing vocational/occupational training.
• Other related duties as required.
