Job summary

ParaMed in Owen Sound, Ontario, is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant/ Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) to support our Grey Bruce team. You will work under Registered PTs/OTs to deliver health teaching, exercise programs, and assist in care planning for clients in Owen Sound and nearby communities.

Recent grads from a recognized physiotherapy program or kinesiology are welcome; a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates from a recognized physiotherapy program or kinesiology is an asset.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide health teaching and perform exercise programs with clients in-person and virtually under supervision of PTs/OTs.
• Assist in administering care plans for Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.

This OTA/PTA can bring their therapy services skills to our Grey Bruce**team.** Our Therapy Assistant will be working mainly under Registered PTs and some OTs to provide health teaching, and exercise programs and would be able to administer care plans for Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
