Job summary

ParaMed Owen Sound is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker to visit patients at home, provide essential caregiving, meal support, light housekeeping, and companionship. You will assist with daily living activities and personal hygiene, delivering compassionate, client-centered care across designated surroundings.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, with opportunities for flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Compassion and listening skills required.
• Experience with seniors and/or children is an asset.
• Must have valid driver license and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to visit patient residences within a designated area.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Criminal background check must be passed on hire.

Responsibilities

• Travel from patient to patient completing home visits.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal-time.
• Assist with basic housekeeping duties.
• Provide companionship and support wellbeing of patients.
• Assist with personal hygiene care including showering and bathing.
