Job summary

ParaMed seeks a skilled Occupational Therapist to deliver community visits, assess abilities, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support client independence in home and school settings.

You will develop client-centered treatment plans, reflect on environmental factors, and maintain compliant records while staying current with professional standards. Flexible scheduling and benefits are highlighted in our generous total rewards package.

Qualifications

• Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists (in good standing).
• First Aid and CPR certification valid within the past 12 months.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based OT assessments and home/school visits in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop client-centered intervention plans and adjust services to reflect individual goals and environmental factors.
• Engage clients using a collaborative approach to build rapport and ensure mutual understanding of services to be provided.
• Maintain thorough client records in compliance with ParaMed policies and regulatory standards.
• Stay current with practice changes to ensure safe, effective service delivery across settings.
