Job summary

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (Theatre Qualified) for Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, BC. You will provide practical nursing services in the operating room as part of a surgical team delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

The role includes pre-, intra-, and post-operative support, with opportunities to collaborate with peri-operative staff and participate in continuous improvement and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurse program and current LPN license in BC (BCCNM).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Operating room (OR) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, and documents patient care pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
• Performs scrub and circulating duties in collaboration with the OR team.
• Assist RN coordinating care in the OR and communicate changes to the care team.
