Job summary

Fraser Health Authority in Burnaby is recruiting a Theatre‑qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to join the operating room team at Burnaby Hospital. You will provide practical nursing care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative stages, supporting the surgical team in a dynamic OR environment.

We seek a registered LPN with OR program training and recent acute care experience, plus BCCNM registration and basic life support.

Qualifications

• Must have LPN registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and documents patient care in pre-operative, intra-operative and immediate post-operative periods.
• Performs scrub and circulating duties in the OR in collaboration with the peri-operative team.
• Assists the RN in coordinating care and communicates any changes or concerns.
