Job summary

Fraser Health Authority's Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, BC, seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (Theatre Qualified) to join its surgical team. You will provide nursing care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases, performing scrub and circulating duties in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Ideal candidates hold an LPN credential, BCCNM registration, and BLS certification, with experience in acute care and OR settings.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current competencies and OR program training.
• Current active registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document patient care pre-, intra- and post-operatively.
• Perform scrub and circulating duties in the OR with the peri-operative team.
• Support the RN coordinating care and assist in orienting new staff.
