We’re looking for an Assistant Manager for our Shoe Co. banner who will put their best foot forward.

As an Assistant Manager, reporting to the Store Manager, you will help lead the store environment, fostering inclusivity and diverse customer connections. Your responsibilities include coaching and leading the team to meet store goals such as sales, web orders, recruiting, performance management, training, and development. Your ability to problem-solve, thrive in a fast-paced environment, lead a dynamic team, collaborate, and execute operational excellence is key to your success.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maximize store results by creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Model a shopping experience that promotes responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity to foster customer loyalty.
  • Manage store operations, balancing policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
  • Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent with a passion for shoes.
  • Achieve company objectives and enhance the Shoe Co. brand by embodying our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/Humility.
  • Develop and implement agile business plans to meet targets.
  • Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change within the store and district.
  • Maintain open communication with the Store Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Proficiency in computer use, including email, MS Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while delivering a compelling customer experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of progressive retail supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and closing shifts.
