Job description

The PATS - Accountant will play an important and dynamic role in the day-to-day operation and success of the Club’s business operations. As a member of the Business Operations department, the Accountant will be responsible for various financial tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and assisting with month-end and year-end reporting. The position requires availability to work irregular hours, including game days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare invoices, receive payments, and complete bank deposits
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Complete bank reconciliations
  • Assist with cash outs, merchandise, and inventory counts
  • Reconcile monthly credit card statements
  • Perform data entry of transactions
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned
Regina Pats Community Foundation
  • Support the operation of the Regina Pats Community Foundation, including:
    • Setting up 50/50 raffles for home games
    • Scheduling volunteers for ticket sales
    • Reconciliation of 50/50 sales
    • Tracking and documenting sales
    • Processing volunteer honorariums
  • Other duties as assigned
