The PATS - Accountant will play an important and dynamic role in the day-to-day operation and success of the Club’s business operations. As a member of the Business Operations department, the Accountant will play a vital and integral role in the Regina Pats finance department. This position will report to, and work directly with, the Manager, Finance & Administration, and will be responsible for monthly tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, preparing invoices, and assisting with month-end and year-end reporting. The role requires an individual who is available to work a variety of irregular hours, including all game days/nights (evenings, weekends, and holidays).

Duties & Responsibilities

Finance & Administration

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare invoices, receive payments, and complete bank deposits
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Complete bank reconciliations
• Assist with cash outs, merchandise, and inventory counts
• Reconcile monthly credit card statements
• Perform data entry of various transactions
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Regina Pats Community Foundation

• Assist with the operation of the Regina Pats Community Foundation, including but not limited to:
• Setting up 50/50 raffles for each home game
• Scheduling volunteers to sell 50/50 tickets
• Reconciliation of sales at the end of each game
• Tracking and documenting all 50/50 sales
• Perform other tasks as assigned
