Job summary

Industrial Textiles Limited in Toronto is seeking a structured and proactive Sourcing Coordinator - Textiles & Garments to oversee our apparel manufacturing pipeline. You will manage factory communication, track fabric and trim development, and ensure garment quality matches tech packs while meeting target costs and delivery windows.

You will maintain critical path calendars, coordinate lab dips and production milestones, onboard new factories with ethical checks, and work closely with design

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in apparel sourcing or garment production.
• Degree or diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, Textile Science, or Business.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage fabric and trim development based on tech packs.
• Source fabrics, hardware, and labels; log lab dips and handloom submissions.
• Coordinate material testing to ensure fabric meets performance and safety metrics.
• Maintain Time & Action calendar to avoid delays in production.
• Track garment sample stages: Proto, Fit, Size-Set, Pre-Production.
• Coordinate sample feedback from design/technical teams and communicate corrections to factories.
• Monitor daily factory WIP logs for cutting, sewing, and packing.
• Issue and update purchase orders; audit vendor cost sheets and terms.
• Onboard new factories with ethical compliance checks and certifications.
• Coordinate packing lists, invoices, and customs documentation; work with logistics.
• Troubleshoot fabric shortages, QA failures, or shipping bottlenecks.
