A fashion retail company is seeking an Administrative Assistant / Office Coordinator in Montreal. This role includes supporting the Materials Development team, managing supplier communications, and organizing the Material Library. The Sourcing Coordinator supports the Materials Development team with daily operations, ensuring timely and successful material development, testing, and organization.

Some of What You'll Do:

• Follow up with suppliers on material developments to ensure timely commercialization.
• Assist with ordering prototypes and salesman samples.
• Maintain the Materials Master chart.
• Create visual boards to support seasonal and brand directions.
• Coordinate testing of materials with QA and third parties.
• Organize the Material Library.
• Manage purchase orders for materials.
• Develop knowledge of supplier and factory capabilities.

Some Of What You'll Need:

• Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Business, Textiles, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Sourcing, Materials, or Product Development, preferably in outdoor apparel or sportswear.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of outerwear, technical apparel, and fashion trends.

Some Of Who You Are:

• Fluent in English; French, Chinese, or Korean skills are a plus.
