Job summary

Industrial Textiles Limited in Toronto, Canada seeks a highly analytical CPA to lead Sourcing & General Accounting, owning the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting for a global apparel sourcing network.

In this dual-focus role, you will manage trade finance, audit logistics and tariffs, track supplier variances, prepare monthly/quarterly/annual statements, ensure tax compliance, and coordinate external audits with auditors and tax advisors.

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in apparel sourcing, global trading, or garment manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own the general ledger, month-end close, and corporate financial reporting.
• Manage trade finance instruments (LCs, wires, currency).
• Audit logistics, tariffs, and reconcile freight invoices and duties.
• Track sourcing variances between quotes and supplier invoices.
• Coordinate external audits and prepare necessary schedules and docs.
• Ensure domestic and international tax filings and compliance.
