Job Title: SAP QA – Test Manager

1.0 Description of Assignment
Seeking a highly experienced SAP QA – Test Manager to lead the end-to-end testing efforts for the SAP Time and Attendance implementation project. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Time Management modules and proven experience managing complex enterprise testing cycles across multiple methodologies. This role demands strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a hands-on approach to quality assurance in a dynamic transit environment.
Skills and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a Test Manager role.
- Strong experience with SAP Time and Attendance
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP Payroll, and integration with third-party systems. Experience with test management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Certifications:
- CBAP or equivalent is an asset
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline
- QA certifications/ITIL is an asset
Assignment Duties
- Develop and execute the overall test strategy and plan for the SAP Time and Attendance project
- Lead the testing team, including internal testers and external vendors.
- Coordinate all phases of testing: Unit, Integration, System, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Define test cases, test scripts, and test data requirements.
- Ensure traceability of test cases to business requirements.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution processes.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure test coverage and quality.
- Provide regular status reports and escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and testing best practices.
- Occasional site visits in subway station, platform, bus and street stop, terminal and TTC office in different GTA location, and during different shifts, may be required. The incumbent must be able to accept the required travel within GTA and comply with OHSA and TTC Health and Safety policies and procedures in the workplace;
- Other project duties as assigned.
Deliverables
- Key deliverables for this position is as follows:
- Document the to-be business process under the guidance of the process owners and project team, adhering to SAP best practices;
- Document business requirements, functional and non-functional;
- Prepare and maintain SAP business process documentation as necessary;
- Prepare business requirements, functional specifications for system changes, working with developers when appropriate;
- Translate business requirements into system requirements and collaborate with development team to ensure that requirements are understood and met during project phases;
- Plan testing sessions with TTC resources
- Design and execute end-to-end business process testing;
- Record and manage defects using standard TTC tools
- Document requirements traceability matrix;
- Participate in the following areas as required: solution scoping, requirements analysis, gap analysis, feasibility, functional design, technical specification, testing, production deployment, support and training;
- Support the following areas as required: project planning, change management, communications, testing, training, go-live and post go-live support activities;
- Others as determined and assigned by ITS-SAP Management.
