Job summary

We are seeking a Test Engineer to lead QA automation for a large-scale enterprise product in Ontario, Canada. The role focuses on developing automated testing, writing test cases, and aligning with developers to maintain strong workflows.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA automation and deep experience with Cypress, Selenium, Jest, and Datadog, and must reside in Ontario with legal work status in Canada.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automation testing experience at mid-market or enterprise level.
• Proficient with Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, Jest, and Datadog.
• Minimum 5 years in QA automation.
• Must reside in Ontario, Canada and have work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead automation processes, unit testing and write test cases.
• Ensure cohesive developer workflows and robust test plans.
• Communicate clearly and document requirements for integration/regression testing.

We are currently retained by a prominent global firm to engage a Test engineer to develop & spearhead QA automation and testing for a large scale enterprise size serverless product. This is a high visibility role within the company and has strong growth trajectory opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead automation processes, unit testing, writing test cases and ensure cohesive developer workflows
• Stellar communication, documentation and strong business and technical requirement gathering to orchestrate appropriate test plan for integration, regression, functional and cross platform testing

Requirements

Must haves:

• Hands-on experience building automation testing for mid market or enterprise level company as
• Deep know how of Cypress testing, Selenium (Web Driver), Jest, Datadog
• 5+ relevant years experience in QA automation
  
• Must currently reside inside Ontario, Canada and be legally allowed to work in Canada
