Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Test Engineer to perform electrical engineering duties, conduct device-level analysis of high-power semiconductor components, and perform laboratory testing and data interpretation.   • Experience with C programming and other engineering software applications.
  • Previous experience in semiconductor product testing or applications engineering is considered a strong asset.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to work directly with electronic components and testing equipment, not solely a desk-based role.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and high-quality technical reports.
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn company-specific applications and tools; training will be provided.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a technical team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical engineering duties and produce accurate, high-quality technical reports.
  • Conduct device-level analysis of high-power semiconductor components.
  • Perform laboratory testing and analysis on electrical devices and systems.
  • Review, compare, and interpret test data to identify trends and variances.
  • Develop and validate mathematical correlations based on test results.
  • Test approximately 30 semiconductor devices per week.
  • Work with and analyze components operating at voltages up to 400V.
  • Provide internal customer support to R&D and Quality Management teams, including device selection, circuit design and troubleshooting, as well as thermal, electrical, and system-level solution analysis.
  • Document findings and provide technical recommendations based on analysis results.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Compensation
  • $70,000 to $100,000 per year based on experience
Contract Length
  • 1-year contract position with the potential for an additional one-year extension
Schedule
  • Monday to Friday - 8:00am/9:00am to 4:00pm/5:00pm
