Job summary

Encore Market Engagement is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Representative for the South Shore, QC region. This 8-week contract offers about 14 hours per week, with field-based duties including promoting products, building relationships, and meeting territory goals.

You’ll work independently, travel to accounts, manage promotions, stock shelves, and provide feedback to optimize in-store execution. Ideal candidates enjoy fast-paced environments and have strong communication and merchandising

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of territory sales and merchandising experience in CPG.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent relationship-building and selling skills.
• Ability to influence and lead change.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set territory goals with manager and develop strategies to meet targets.
• Develop customer relations to become a trusted advisor.
• Introduce new products and promotional events into the market.
• Solicit orders for account bookings and allocations.
• Ensure correct shelf tags per account listings and planograms.
• Verify supply availability and monitor inventory status.
• Negotiate shelf space and build Gold Standard displays.
• Use sales tools to identify opportunities and action plans.
• Provide feedback on retail conditions and issues as they arise.
• Other duties as required.
