Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Territory Manager to sell Ditch Witch and Morbark equipment in Milton, Ontario, focusing on underground and tree care within the assigned territory. You will develop sales strategies, cultivate customer relationships, and drive revenue growth by pursuing new business opportunities and coordinating with Parts, Service, and Finance to meet client needs.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience in construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to maximize revenue and expand market share within the assigned AOR.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and responding to market trends.
  • Undertake an average of seven customer visits daily to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Promote Brandt's Underground and Tree Care line to strengthen brand presence and sales.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and terms to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships for retention and referrals.
  • Collaborate with Parts, Service, and Finance to provide integrated solutions.
  • Monitor customer operations to anticipate needs and provide proactive solutions.

Description

The Territory Manager - Ditch Witch specializing in Underground and Tree Care is responsible for selling new and used equipment such as Ditch Witch and Morbark, within an assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR).

This role focuses on developing business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and achieving sales goals to grow revenue and market share.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to maximize revenue and expand market share within the assigned AOR.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and responding to market trends to achieve growth targets.
  • Undertake an average of seven customer visits daily to maximize sales opportunities
  • Promote Brandt's Underground and Tree Care line to existing and potential customers to strengthen brand presence and increase sales.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and terms to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to ensure retention, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Collaborate with Parts, Service, and Finance departments to provide integrated solutions that meet customer needs efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor customer operations and changing requirements to anticipate needs and provide proactive solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed weekly customer status reports, including call activity, prospect lists, and opportunity tracking, to drive informed and data-based sales strategies.
  • Coordinate equipment check-ins, upfitting, and delivery schedules with Sales Coordinators to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Complete all sales documentation, travel plans, and expense reports promptly to maintain operational accuracy and compliance.
  • Represent Brandt at industry events, trade shows, and customer functions to promote products and strengthen client engagement.
  • Participate actively in weekly sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed on products, market trends, and company initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We Look For
  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience in construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
  • Experience in trenching, horizontal, and directional drilling considered an asset.
  • Tree cutting and clearing experience considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
