Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a Territory Manager for our Barrie Construction & Forestry location. You will drive growth in a defined AoR, build strong customer relationships, and deliver tailored sales solutions while providing product knowledge and after-sales support.

The role requires proactive account management, industry event participation, and extensive travel across the AoR to maximize revenue and market share. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany this position.

Responsibilities

  • Sell new and used equipment across the designated AOR to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans by identifying key strategic customers and expanding relationships with existing accounts.
  • Perform ~7 customer visits daily to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Acquire new customers and grow share of existing business through proactive engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams (Parts/Service).
  • Travel extensively throughout the AoR to cover current and prospective locations.
  • Attend industry events and host customers to promote products and strengthen engagement.
  • Stay informed on customers' business activities to address market opportunities.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed customer status reports weekly.
  • Coordinate with Sales Coordinators to schedule equipment check-ins and delivery parameters.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and training sessions.
  • Complete sales documentation, travel plans, and expense reports timely.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Description

Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Territory Manager for our Barrie Construction & Forestry location.

The Territory Manager is responsible for driving business growth and market share within an assigned Area of Responsibility (AoR). This role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and deliver tailored sales solutions. The Territory Manager develops strategic plans to meet and exceed sales targets, while providing exceptional product knowledge and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Sell new and used equipment across the designated Area of Responsibility (AOR) to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans by identifying key strategic customers and expanding relationships with existing accounts.
  • Undertake an average of seven customer visits daily to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Acquire new customers and grow the share of existing customer business through proactive engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams, including Parts and Service, to support customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Travel extensively throughout the AOR to cover all current and prospective account locations effectively.
  • Attend industry events and host customers to promote products, build brand presence, and strengthen client engagement.
  • Keep current on customers’ business activities and changing needs to anticipate and address market opportunities.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed customer status reports, including sales call activities and prospect account lists submitted weekly, to support informed sales strategies.
  • Coordinate with Sales Coordinators to schedule equipment check-ins and delivery parameters, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Participate actively in weekly sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed and contribute to team goals.
  • Complete all sales documentation, travel plans, and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.
