Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a Territory Manager for our Sudbury Brandt Peterbilt location. You will sell new and used heavy equipment within the territory, maintain strong customer relationships, and develop marketing strategies to grow accounts.

The role requires travel, a valid passport, and a recent driver's abstract. You will report to the Brandt Peterbilt team and contribute to continuous learning and customer-focused growth within a growing company.

Qualifications

  • Sales experience in heavy equipment is a strong asset.
  • Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally.
  • A recent driver's abstract will be required.
  • Strong customer service skills and client-facing capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Sell new and used whole goods within the designated sales territory.
  • Complete all sales documentation accurately and promptly; maintain product knowledge.
  • Keep informed on customers’ business activities and needs.
  • Develop marketing and promotional strategies for the territory.
  • Prepare customer status reports including sales calls, closings, follow-ups, and prospects.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Sell new and used whole goods product within the designated sales territory
  • Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner Keep current on product knowledge and equipment
  • Keep current on customers' business activities and needs
  • Develop marketing and promotion strategies for territory
  • Prepare customer status reports, including but not limited to sales call activity, closing, follow -up, and prospect reports as required
What We Look For
  • Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset
  • Must be able to obtain or have a valid passport, and be able to travel internationally
  • A recent driver’s abstract will be required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts
