Job summary

NSK is seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive growth in the Canadian market. You will work with Engineering, Field Service, and Regional Sales to provide technical assistance, training and cost-saving alternatives.

You'll conduct high-quality calls with NSK Distributors, End Users, and Target Accounts, manage territory coverage, and use Salesforce daily to track activities and opportunities. You will monitor inventory levels for key customers, document cost savings, and expand sales with

Qualifications

  • Preference of 5 years in industrial technical sales.
  • Experience selling through industrial distributors or OEMs.
  • Ease of working with CRM such as Salesforce.com.
  • Experience selling in Heavy Industry (mining and/or metals) is an asset.
  • Expertise and application knowledge (engineering, millwright) is an asset.
  • Residence preferred in Manitoba or Northern Ontario.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and cost‑saving alternatives to end users and customers within the assigned territory.
  • Execute sales calls at NSK Distributors, End Users, and defined Target Accounts.
  • Manage time and territory to ensure complete coverage.
  • Use Salesforce daily to update Sales Activities and Opportunities.
  • Oversee inventory levels for key customers and document cost savings monthly.
  • Proactively develop on Strategic Core Accounts with Distributors.
  • Develop new Target Account opportunities with all Distributors.
  • Resolve external and internal conflicts and complaints as required.
  • Assist in product forecast by part number and customer when possible.
  • Stay updated on market trends, new products, and competitive information.

Summary
Responsibilities
  • Working in conjunction with Engineering, Field Service team, support staff and the Regional Sales Manager to provide technical assistance, training and cost savings alternatives to end users and existing customers within assigned territory using the NSK Asset Improvement Process.
  • Execute high quality, opportunity driven sales calls at NSK Distributors, End Users, and defined Target Accounts.
  • Effective time management and territory management to ensure complete coverage of assigned territory.
  • Utilize, Maintain, and Update Sales Activities and Opportunities using Salesforce on a daily basis.
  • Implement and oversees critical inventory level for Key Customers
  • Document cost savings using the AIP process submitted monthly.
  • Proactive sales expansion on Strategic Core Accounts with all Distributors.
  • Active development of new Target Account opportunities with all Distributors.
  • Proactive and reactive conflict and complaint resolution both external and internal, as required.
  • Assist in providing product forecast, by part number, by customer, where possible.
  • Keep up to date on trends and market developments, new products and any and all competitive information and report on regular basis.
