Halter is seeking a Territory Manager in Canada to drive new business growth and ensure customer success in your designated territory. You will execute sales strategies, build strong relationships, and meet ambitious growth targets as Halter’s on-ground representative.

Responsibilities include prospecting, in-field demonstrations, upsell opportunities, pipeline management, onboarding, and cross-team collaboration.

About the Role

As a Territory Manager at Halter, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth and ensuring customer success within your designated territory. You will be responsible for executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and meeting ambitious growth targets, all while acting as Halter’s on‑ground representative. This role requires a proactive and hands‑on approach, with a focus on both expansion and long‑term customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting new business: Drive leads through outbound activities and manage inbound leads efficiently.
  • In‑field sales: Engage customers on the ranch, demonstrate Halter’s technology, and identify value opportunities.
  • Expanding existing opportunities: Identify upsell prospects within current accounts.
  • Meeting sales targets: Manage pipeline and close deals while maintaining focus on future prospects.
  • Customer account management: Provide ongoing support and ensure customer satisfaction after the sale.
  • Territory ownership: Own the entire region, maintain relationships with stakeholders, and optimize coverage.
  • Customer onboarding: Ensure a smooth hand‑off from sales to onboarding and oversee deployment.
  • Gather field learnings & feedback: Act as primary point of contact for customer feedback and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with support teams: Resolve issues quickly and keep customers fully supported.
  • Attend industry events: Leverage events to generate leads and deepen existing relationships.
  • Contribute to the Canadian sales strategy: Work with the broader team to refine the sales process.
Qualifications

  • Experience in ranching or cattle operations.
  • Sales & customer success expertise, with a history of building long‑term relationships.
  • Territory management experience, preferably in agriculture or technology.

  • Willingness to travel frequently within your territory.

  • Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies.
  • Background in customer‑facing roles within ag‑tech.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment.
