The Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a Territory Manager for Western Saskatchewan and Southern Alberta. The successful candidate will aim to maximize sales, market share, and profitability within their territory.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the first line of contact for Dealers and provide ongoing support to Dealers and End-User Customers.
- Development of Distribution Network
- Ensure all Dealers are capable of selling and supporting the Brandt product line.
- Build strong relationships with Dealer personnel including Dealer Principal, Sales Managers, Salespeople, and Parts and Service staff.
- Provide Dealer Product Training to sales staff.
- Ensure Dealers understand all aspects of Brandt Sales, Service, and Finance, as well as all Brandt programs.
- Manage Dealer network by adding or terminating Dealers to optimize distribution.
- Offer consulting services to Dealers as needed.
Sales Management- Manage personal time effectively, with a travel schedule developed in consultation with the Sales Manager to visit each Dealer at least once every 4 weeks.
- Develop and agree upon an annual Business Plan with goals for each Dealer.
- Ensure Dealers stock inventory according to Brandt expectations and meet retail targets.
- Assist Dealers with sales and marketing efforts, including advertising, demonstrations, and events, in collaboration with the Sales Manager and Head Office staff.
- Contribute to Sales Program Development and report market trends to the Sales Manager.
- Provide input for Product Development based on competitive insights.
- Secure product orders from Dealers throughout the year, especially during Booking Programs.
- Maintain Brandt vehicles to uphold corporate image.
- Coordinate trade shows, including organizing equipment, layout, and staff participation.
Customer Service- Act as the second point of contact for Customer Service issues after the Brandt Service Department.
- Assist the Customer Service Department in gaining cooperation from Dealer Service personnel and engage with end-users to promote goodwill.
Administration- Manage all Dealer accounts, including Parts and Wholegoods Inventory, monitoring inventory turns, and conducting physical counts during visits. Report inventory levels monthly to head office.
- Monitor accounts receivable monthly, working with finance staff to ensure accounts remain current.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
