Established in 1980, Colio Estate Wines continues to be one of the leaders in its industry. From humble beginnings, we have grown to be one of the largest wine producers in Ontario. Some of our award-winning wine brands include Colio Estate Winery, Girls’ Night Out, Lily, and Hopetown.
We also produce award winning craft cider under our Thornbury Craft Co. brand. Thornbury Premium Apple Cider is a top selling craft cider in Ontario. We also produce several other ciders that are widely available in the LCBO, Grocery & Convenience channels, such as Thornbury Pear Apple Cider and Thornbury Wild Blueberry Elderflower Apple Cider. We offer additional ciders at our on-site Retail Store and Tap Room in Thornbury Ontario. We pride ourselves on using top-quality ingredients and 100% fresh-pressed Ontario apples.
At Blue Mountain Brewing Co., we specialize in crafting locally inspired craft beers made with award-winning water from The Blue Mountains. Our Pilsner has twice been awarded the World’s Best Lager Czech-Style Pale at the World Beer Awards. Our portfolio of craft beers can be found at the LCBO, in the Grocery/Convenience channels and in bars and restaurants across Ontario.
Colio also proudly represents a carefully curated collection of brands from across the globe, including Canada, the United States, Portugal, Italy, South Africa, and Australia, enriching its portfolio in all channels.
Position Summary
The Territory Manager reports directly to the Ontario Sales Manager. They are responsible for building our owned brands and agency portfolio brands in the LCBO, Licensee, Grocery, and Convenience channels.
Core Competencies
· Solid understanding of the beverage alcohol industry and trends.
· Proven track record in building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
· Demonstrated ability to proactively identify customer issues, recommend solutions and implement solutions.
· Demonstrated diligence and ability to follow through on commitments.
· Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to achieve targets with a minimal amount of direction.
· Computer literacy with the ability to use applications including Word, Power Point, Excel.
· Solid planning and analytical skills.
· Demonstrated experience in the use of syndicated data & category management principles.
· Team player and effective internal communicator.
· Execute occasional supplier trade visits.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum 3 years sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry is preferred.
WSET or equivalent wine education preferred.
University Degree or College Diploma
