Base pay range

CA$65,000.00/yr - CA$80,000.00/yr

As a Territory Manager representing Pure Sunfarms and our brands, you are responsible for driving distribution, consideration, adoption and advocacy for our brands and products. A successful candidate will provide best in class sales processes and customer service by establishing an authentic connection and meaningful collaboration with store owners, key decision makers, budtenders and trade influencers to deliver excellence in execution. KEY RESPONSBILITIES

Total Territory Management

  • Responsible for driving market share, distribution and revenue in the designated geographical area
  • Proficiency in critical account level selling drivers, enablers and metrics i.e. distribution, rate of sale, visibility, product quality messaging, promotion, brand asset deployment and product education
  • Establish and maintain a regular call cycle that delivers top class service to all accounts within the designated geography
  • Develop and deliver a sales strategy for the geography that delivers and exceeds company assigned distribution and revenue targets
  • Adopt a consultative selling approach with strict adherence to SALES, the Pure Sunfarms way of selling
  • Proactively manage product assortment and pricing consistency in accounts to ensure that Pure Sunfarms ASSORTMENT ADVANTAGE is implemented and maximized
  • Understand product category dynamics and trends inside the region; the assigned geography; and the individual account
  • Conduct territory level data analysis to set focused sales call objectives that deliver maximum impact for the account and Pure Sunfarms
  • Implement brand and trade marketing initiatives within the territory ensuring that account selection delivers maximum ROI and execution is delivered to the PUREST standard
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Pure Sunfarms products, brands and the unique selling features associated with delivering high quality product education
  • Gather, monitor and capture competitive performance and behaviors including pricing, innovation and market presence

Relationship Building

  • Be an ambassador of Pure Sunfarms values, DELIVER, RESILIENCE & EMPOWER, in market with customers, consumers and industry peers
  • Build, own, and develop relationships in the assigned geography by creating strong, mutually beneficial and collaborative partnerships with accounts and their stakeholders
  • Establish strong internal relationships through regular communication with team members, active participation during team meetings and exhibiting a positive, winning attitude
  • Demonstrate the highest level of accountability with both internal and external stakeholders

Education and Trade Marketing

  • Intermittently represent the Pure Sunfarms portfolio at trade and industry events with the highest level of professionalism
  • Articulate the Pure Sunfarms brand portfolio in a compelling, relatable manner
  • Deliver top class product education to account staff and key decision makers about our products, growing methods and quality standards
  • Ensure merchandising tools and promotional assets are strategically leveraged in a manner that ensures the highest consumer impact and maximizes ROI
  • Delivering occasional education and trade marketing activities outside of regular business hours

Other Duties

At Pure Sunfarms, we’re committed to ensuring we’re bringing the best we have to offer to our consumers. This means other duties may arise since we work together to ensure we support all business activities – seed to sale.

WORK STATUS

This role is remote, which requires you to work remotely (or ‘on the road’), with daily travel in your territory throughout Alberta North.

Education

  • Post secondary education preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in retail, B2B sales, Wholesale, Trade Marketing, customer service or related field

Knowledge & Skills

  • Transferable knowledge and proven experience with Salesforce is an asset
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sales best practices and account management
  • Effectively communicate, present information and tell compelling Brand stories
  • Ability to create and execute a strategic route plan within a specified territory
  • Interest, knowledge, and passion for Cannabis is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: Influencing & Networking. Ability to establish and develop mutually beneficial and trusting business relationships
  • A self-starter who is driven to succeed and exceed goals. Proven track record in delivering growth objectives and critical KPI’s
  • Passion for learning, sharing, and continuously developing
  • Creative thinker focused on providing innovative solutions

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Must have a driver's license and willingness/ability to travel within a geographic region extensively
  • Must have the ability to maintain and pass an RCMP criminal record check and obtain a security clearance
