Job summary

Industra Construction Corp. is seeking a Field Project Coordinator to join our site team in Terrace, BC.

This full-time role reports to the Project Manager and works daily with the Superintendent and Foremen to keep every aspect of the project and site operations running smoothly, safely, on schedule and on budget. Local candidates in Terrace are preferred, with out-of-town candidates considered, and a Living Out Allowance (LOA) plus company housing provided.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience as a Project Coordinator or Field Engineer.
• Strong technical and communication skills with on-site crews and clients.
• Experience on civil, infrastructure, water/wastewater or industrial projects is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore/Bluebeam/Microsoft Project is an asset.
• Supervisor safety training and valid driver’s license, willing to obtain additional certifications.
• Ability to commit to on-site Terrace work for a minimum of one year.

Responsibilities

• Support site safety activities, including COR program compliance and incident reporting.
• Review drawings and specifications to resolve discrepancies with the project team.
• Act as site supervisor in the absence of the Superintendent/Foreman, directing labour safely.
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals and change documentation; maintain Procore records.
• Track daily production, quantities, labour, equipment and materials; prepare reports.
• Monitor cost and schedule performance; assist updates to look-ahead schedules.
• Maintain field documentation, weather records and daily diaries with client sign-off.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and suppliers and understand each scope.
• Support procurement, permits, take-offs, and on-site commissioning activities.
• Assist with project close-out and documentation, including O&M manuals.
