Job summary

GeoVerra is seeking a Survey Technician to support local projects in Terrace, BC. The role combines field surveying with office tasks and requires relocation to Terrace if not already residing there.

You will work with Project Managers and Land Surveyors, manage field data, and mentor junior staff while upholding GeoVerra safety standards and employing the latest surveying technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in surveying/geomatics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a Survey Technician role performing construction and legal fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage field and office survey work.
• Coordinate field survey activities with Project Managers and manage budgets/schedules.
• Act as client liaison and deliver field notes/drawings in proper formats.
• Provide mentorship and training to team members.
• Support implementation of best practices and safety programs.
