Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is seeking Traffic Control Persons to support field operations in Dartmouth and surrounding areas in Nova Scotia.

You will ensure temporary workplaces are signed in accordance with provincial requirements, load daily equipment on the truck, and interact with customers to understand the scope of work and traffic control needs. You will also ensure compliance with safety policies, act as the traffic control person during breaks, and perform routine inspections of sites.

Qualifications

• Provincial Traffic Control Person Certification required.
• Provincial Traffic Control Agent/Signer Certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Steel-toe boots required.
• Nova Scotia Driver's license (Class 5) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring temporary workplaces are signed in accordance with provincial requirements.
