Job summary

Westside-Regional-Recreation-Society is seeking a dedicated custodian in Calgary for a temporary part-time role. You will handle routine cleaning, disinfect facilities, restock supplies, and assist with event setup to support a welcoming community space.

The position runs up to 16 hours per week with Saturday and Sunday evening shifts, for a one-year term with potential extension. Required: CSA Z1210-17 IFA and WHMIS certification; cleanliness and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Standard First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Previous custodian experience is an asset.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts, lift up to 22 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting.
• Clean and disinfect washrooms, change rooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Assist with event setup and furniture arrangement as needed.

EMPLOYMENT TERM
