Job summary

The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for a Temporary Part Time Educational Assistant at Victoria School in Saskatchewan. EAs support student learning in the classroom and other educational settings, collaborating with teachers and school teams to promote student learning, well-being and success.

The assignment runs from Oct 26, 2026 to Jun 29, 2027, with schedule determined by the principal and student services; 3.0 hours per day.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.

• Knowledge of Indigenous ways of knowing is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

EAs are valuable members of a team which collaborates to promote student learning, well-being and success.

Assignment And Term

• This position is a temporary part-time position of 3.0 hours/day in accordance with the Educational Assistant school calendar.
• The position commences October 26, 2026 and expires June 29, 2027 with the work schedule to be determined later on.This is determined by the principal and student services. Rest periods will be scheduled in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement.

The Duties Of An Educational Assistant Are To

• Work closely with students to meet their diverse learning goals.

The Successful Candidate Will Have The Desired Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
• Acute attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to work as a team member will be considered assets.
• Knowledge of and experience with indigenous ways of knowing, living, and being are a strong asset.

Salary And Benefits

• In Accordance with the CUPE 4784 Collective Agreement

• The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis at an hourly rate from $21.00 - $25.79 plus applicable vacation pay.
• Benefits include participation in the Saskatchewan School Board Association (SSBA) Employee Benefits Plan if eligible, the Municipal Employees' Pension Plan (MEPP) and opportunities to attend professional development seminars.
