Job summary

Peace Wapiti Public School Division in Grande Prairie region is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant (6.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday). The role supports a certificated teacher in a student-focused, collaborative setting.

A current Criminal Record Check is required. Salary ranges from $21.28 to $28.02 per hour, with benefits eligibility for life insurance and extended health care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Educational Assistant Diploma preferred.
• Knowledge of LAMP or using AAC is an asset.

is seeking candidates who enjoy working in a student-focused and collaborative environment. We invite applications for a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant (6.5 hours/day Monday to Friday). The Educational Assistant works under the supervision of a certificated teacher.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Educational Assistant Diploma is preferred
• Knowledge of LAMP or using AAC
• CPR/First Aid would be considered an asset
• Experience working with children in a classroom/organized setting is preferred
• You have the ability and willingness to perform required physical tasks, as well as assist with personal care.
• You have the ability to meet outside of school hours.
• You have the ability to work as part of a team.

Salary is commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $21.28/hour to $28.02/hour.
