Job summary

Baptist Housing in West Kelowna, BC is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Smith Creek Village team. You will provide person-centred care, collaborate with RNs, administer medications, and support wellness programs for residents.

These are two 0.734 FTE temporary night-shift positions (6-week rotating schedule) under the BCNU collective agreement, averaging 29.4 hours per week with 8-hour shifts, offering a predictable overnight schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized school of nursing.
• Current registration in good standing with BCCNM.
• Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma or RN designation.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Availability to work consistent shifts over the weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and assist RNs with complex cases.
• Administer medications and conduct assessments.
• Create individualized care plans and monitor residents’ health.
• Promote wellness through programs and activities.
• Utilize Point-Click Care and EMAR to maintain accurate records.
