Job summary

FedEx Canada in Quebec is seeking a delivery driver for a temporary role up to 12 weeks. You will provide courteous pick-up and delivery on an assigned route, check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada features of service, and perform related customer service functions. A bilingual (French and English) candidate is required if residing in Quebec.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Customer Service – 1 year (preferred).

Responsibilities

Provides efficient and safe delivery and pick-up of packages while representing the company in a professional manner.
Accomplishes accurate and timely selection and inspection of assigned packages and the subsequent reporting of stop counts and missorts.
Adheres to courier procedures and loads van and plans route for efficient delivery and pick-up.
Seeks additional business from current customers and informs sales department of leads.
Ensures proper labeling and paperwork for FedEx Canada service features and shipping materials.
Operates tracking systems and provides customers with information on services and requirements.
Maintains safe driving and vehicle compliance with regulations; assists with loading/unloading as workload dictates.
