Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) encompasses the municipalities of the City of Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton County, and the District Municipality of Muskoka. With approximately 16,000 students, TLDSB has 40 elementary schools, seven secondary schools, and six Adult and Alternate Education Centres.
Reporting to the District Principal of Human Resources Services, the incumbent in this position ensures that casual/occasional teaching and non-teaching staff are dispatched to fill vacancies due to absences. This is accomplished through the management of the Atrieve Dispatch System (ADS) software and by providing functional guidance to the dispatch staff. The incumbent is also responsible for the permanent Educational Assistant (EA) staffing process. The incumbent will also provide backup or support to the Support Staff Staffing Officer, as needed.
The incumbent in this position will contribute to student achievement and the TLDSB Mission Statement by ensuring that the absences and temporary vacancies are filled with qualified replacement staff and by ensuring that the School Board employs qualified and highly effective Educational Assistants.
