Job summary

Nortera Foods Inc. seeks a temporary evening hairdresser operator in the Labeling department. This role reports to the foreman of Receiving and Shipping, moving products and boxes with a forklift and preparing labeling setups to meet customer schedules.

The candidate will read, write and count, possess basic computer knowledge, and communicate well while thriving in a team environment. Position offers a Monday–Thursday evening schedule and overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Check that the boxes are not blocked in the stacker and unblock them if necessary.
• Remove unpackaged or poorly packaged boxes and unlabeled and/or dented canes.
• Make the piler setups according to the labeling schedule.
• Check production codes and dates for each customer.
• When changing the product to be labeled or the date, make sure not to mix two (2) different products.

Department: Labeling

Status: Temporary position (minimum 3 months)

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.

Salary: $22.67 / hour + $1.35 evening bonus = $24.02 per hour

Start: As soon as possible
