Job summary

Nortera is seeking an evening labeling forklift operator in Richelieu, Quebec. The role reports to the labeling department supervisor and involves moving pallets and products, feeding stackers and depalletizers, and ensuring correct labeling codes. The position runs Monday to Thursday from 4:30 p.m.

to 3:00 a.m. with a base wage of $24.01 per hour plus a $1.35 evening bonus. Start date is ASAP, with weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and a robust benefits program including insurance and RRSP

Qualifications

• Forklift driving experience required.
• Ability to pile at height is an asset.
• Be responsible and autonomous.
• Open to receiving training on different positions on the labeling line.

Responsibilities

• Empty and feed the stacker and depalletizer with pallets.
• Check production codes.
• Bring the materials for packaging and crating.
• Receive raw materials from the labeling department.
• Make replacements on the labeling line.
• Inspect your forklift before using it.

Reporting to the supervisor of the labeling department, the incumbent of the position will have to see to the movement of pallets and products.
