Job summary

Karis Disability Services in Saskatchewan is seeking a Temporary Employment Support Professional to provide services in a vocational setting, assisting with activities in a workplace environment and offering employment supports to people with disabilities. You will work with your team and handle assigned administrative duties.

Preferred candidates have 3-6 months experience (volunteer or paid) and may hold Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or related post-secondary

Description

The Employment Support Professional provides services to people in a vocational setting. They assist with activities in a workplace environment and provides employment supports to people working at their jobs and in their community. The Employment Support Professional ensures that people who experience disabilities belong to communities in which their God-given gifts are valued and respected. They work in cooperation with their team and completes administrative duties as assigned.

Employment Support Professional employees build communities that value the contributions of people who experience developmental disabilities. They assist with activities of daily living, working collaboratively with families, advocates, friends, and community partners in order to promote full citizenship and enhance relationships. Requirements:
