Job summary

Rocky View Schools (RVS) invites applications for a temporary full-time Elementary Generalist teaching position starting immediately until December 18, 2026 at Northcott Prairie School in the City of Airdrie, AB. The school serves students from Kindergarten to Grade 9.

Applicants must hold or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. New graduates should include practicum reports; external applicants must attach a recent supervisor reference letter.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
• New/Recent Graduates: submit final practicum report in lieu of a reference letter.
• External applicants must provide a professional reference letter from their most recent supervisor, on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months.
• Successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of start.

This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

Pre-employment Requirements.
