Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking a temporary courier in Alberta to provide courteous pick-up and delivery on an assigned route. The role emphasizes accurate shipment checks and timely reporting of stop counts and missorts.

You will operate a van safely, adhere to procedures and security requirements, and may assist with loading/unloading and sorting based on workload. This is an interview-position, temporary up to 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• No experience required.
• Customer orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provides efficient and safe delivery and pick-up of packages on an assigned route.
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada service features and completes paperwork neatly.
• Reports stop counts and missorts accurately and timely.
• Operates van safely, follows procedures, and ensures security of property.
• May load/unload aircraft or containers and sort packages as workload dictates.
• Answers questions about FedEx Canada services and keeps customers informed of requirements.
• Seeks additional business and informs sales of leads and market changes.
