Job summary

Apex Utilities Inc. is seeking a Temporary Associate, Regulatory in Leduc, AB. This full-time, unionized role supports Regulatory Operations and Rates with data analysis and documentation for external filings.

You will assist in preparing regulatory submissions, conduct regulatory research, and help prepare Regulatory and Legal Affairs deliverables. A bachelor’s degree plus 3 years in data analysis within a regulated utility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, accounting, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial/business data analysis or a related area, preferably in a regulated utility environment.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of financial and business operations data and conduct preliminary analysis for Regulatory Operations and Rates functions.
• Assist in preparing external regulatory filings, information requests, and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing Regulatory and Legal Affairs deliverables and conduct regulatory research.
