NorthRiver Midstream (NorthRiver) is one of North America's leading gas gathering and processing businesses on an exciting path of expansion and innovation that's not slowing down. We do energy differently.

  • We are a lean, agile, customer driven company with an asset base primarily located in the rich Montney reserves of Northeast British Columbia.
  • We have a proud and well-earned reputation for safe, reliable operations.
  • We've made real commitments to measurable emission reductions and sustainability, and our results back this up.
  • We have a verifiable track record of meaningful indigenous partnership founded on mutual respect.
  • Our culture is one of partnership, collaboration, ownership and an unwavering commitment to finding solutions together.
Why work for us?
  • We're a team that cares about each other. We've got each other's back.
  • We believe that the best ideas win, no matter where they come from.
  • We're the perfect size - lean and agile.
  • We're big enough that there are great opportunities for career growth and personal development.

We’re looking for a intermediate level resource to join our all-star team. We’re looking for:

  • A problem solver who gets how things connect: You’re someone who dives into data, breaking down complex problems, and finds logical, efficient solutions. You’re the type of person who thinks in systems - seeing the big picture while making sure all the moving parts fit together smoothly. You naturally connect the dots, anticipate challenges, and find the best way through.
  • Someone who puts safety first: You prioritize safety in every task, recognizing that it's not just a requirement but a responsibility. You follow protocols diligently, stay alert to potential hazards, and proactively address unsafe conditions. Whether it’s performing a lockout/tagout, completing safety checklists, or participating in drills, you lead by example and help foster a culture where safety is second nature.
  • An effective communicator: You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences. You adapt your messaging to suit the context, ensuring understanding and alignment among team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Flexible mindset: You’re curious and flexible - the Swiss Army knife of capabilities. You thrive in situations where there isn’t always a playbook and love coming up with creative ways to tackle challenges.

  • Utilize the Operations Management System (OMS) to support operational activities, documentation, and compliance within the area of responsibility.
  • Support facility and system performance monitoring, including identification of optimization opportunities to maintain safe and reliable operations within regulatory limits.
  • Participate in the development, review, and continuous improvement of operating procedures, making recommendations for updates or modifications as needed.
  • Ensure operational activities align with approved procedures, standing orders, and permit requirements.
  • Actively support health and safety programs by participating in safety meetings, incident investigations, and implementation of corrective actions.
