Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Telecommunications Systems Analyst to join our team in Kimberley. The role focuses on evaluating, analyzing, and improving the performance and efficiency of telecommunications systems, gathering requirements, and recommending solutions to enhance network operations.

The position supports a hybrid work model with on-site collaboration and remote data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in telecommunications systems analysis, design, or support.
• Proficiency with telecommunications network principles and technologies (VoIP, data networks, wireless).
• Experience with system analysis methodologies and documentation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance and capacity of existing telecommunications systems; identify improvements.
• Gather and document business and technical requirements for new systems or upgrades.
• Develop detailed system specifications and design documentation.
• Conduct root cause analysis for system failures and performance issues.
• Evaluate and recommend new telecommunications technologies and solutions.
• Collaborate with network engineers, IT staff, and vendors to implement and test systems.
• Develop test plans and oversee user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Prepare reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for telecommunications systems.
