Job summary

Sienna Senior Living in Markham is looking for an Administrator, Telephone and Call System to manage cloud-based phone and nurse call systems. You will support front-line staff, coordinate with vendors, and maintain accurate project documentation.

The role requires VoIP/cloud PBX expertise, strong communication, and the ability to translate technical details for clinical staff to ensure efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in IT with 1–2 years in phone and call bell systems.
• Healthcare environment experience is highly desirable.
• Certifications in telecom/IT/healthcare tech are a plus.
• Fluency in both French and English is an asset.
• Understanding of VoIP and cloud PBX configuration and support.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade cloud-based phone and nurse call systems.
• Manage user accounts, extensions, and call routing.
• Monitor alerts and performance dashboards for issues.
• Provide troubleshooting and staff support with timely responses.
• Document configurations, SOPs, and user manuals.
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and site implementations.
• Generate reports on system health and uptime.
