Job summary

VistaCare in Canada is seeking an on-site supervisor with strong communication skills to lead construction and service projects. You will read blueprints and electrical schematics, supervise a team, and ensure safety and productivity targets are met.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. This position is based at the Chapel Arm location and involves hands-on oversight of field crews and projects.

Qualifications

• 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in related roles.
• English language proficiency required.
• On-site work with no remote option.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production and other reports
• Recommend measures to improve productivity
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Supervise workers and projects
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Train or arrange for training
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units
